The Museum at the Oklahoma City Memorial Center opened in February, 2001 as witnessed by many of those who were directly affected by what happened at 9:05 AM on April 19, 1995. The 30,000 square foot Museum includes 400 artifacts, 500 pictures and a video presentation that includes oral histories and news footage. The Storyline for the Museum is presented in ten chapters, starting with "Chaos" and ending with the last chapter, "Hope". The exhibit tells the story of the devastation through the use of actual debris collected from the site and moves to the 16 days of rescue and recovery. There is a "Gallery of Honor" where an image of each person lost in the bombing is displayed along with personal items to remember the person by selected by the family.
